    I sincerely doubt it, you figure people have decided to listen to bbc instead? Even if it is a similar show, it has an irish twist and relevance. He is national broadcaster of the year 3 years running, the end is nowhere near.

    while i see where the plagiarism arguements came from, nothing is original any more, and he's certainly original for Ireland.

    nothing is original worldwide, but he's brought something from abroad that has changed Irish radio considerably, and IMO for the better. presenters nationwide are now more relaxed, and in touch with their listeners.

    I'd say that has more to do with technology than Mr. Foley

    IF he has lost listeners I may have the answer. While I worked, I listened to Foley in the car(usually the only place people listen to radio anymore)
    More Unemployment therefore less car listening. Just my theory anyway.

    This discussion is anti-Foley. Sure he is just a bit'a fun for yer lunch-time...wah hey!

    There should be 2 Ray Foley threads.

    One where people can chat about funny things/events on the show.

    And the other for the whiney brigade to bemoan everything about it. Seriously, why bother come into a thread about a show and do nothing but give out about it. I don't like Liveline but I'm not gonna pop my head in that thread and start having a go. Why don't all you begrudgers take your moaning to the ranting and raving forum.

    He is a well known troll here on the boards and seems on a mission to be banned from all forum.

    I can completely and absolutely confirm that the member posting under the name "Ray Foley" was not, as you may have guessed, Ray Foley, in any way affiliated with Ray Foley or doing it with Ray's permission.

    So, they've had their name changed and are taking a wee break from us.

    Why do alot of Ray's callers to the show leave a radio on in the background?

    The feedback is so irritating, he should just cut them off if there's a radio blaring
