2 Screens and some issues

    Hey,
    My mate bought second screen today and a splitter as his gfx card only has one port in the back. the card is a hd radeon 2350

    When he has the splitter plugged in only 1 screen works, so if he has both on only one will work. but if he turns the one that's on off then the other one works.

    Any1 got an ideas of what to do to get it to work right

    also the monitors are both different sizes and made by different supplies

    Has he gone into the screen properties and enabled the second screen?

    Right click the desktop and depentat on the OS its normally the bottom option should see 2 screens one grey'd out and normally right click the second screen and enable

    That's because DVI splitters don't work.
