Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I had a wool D/B blazer made years ago, looks good and good fit, but the plain brass buttons are cheap looking. Where would be a good place to start to look for some nice replacement ones? Jenny Vanders? Any idea what you'd pay for a full set - 6 small (cuffs) and 6 large?

    ta for any advice.

Try A. Rubanesque in Powerscourt Townhouse. They have a huge button selection and friendly staff who I'm sure will help you out. Their buttons go up to around €6 each I think.

Some second hand and charity shops have them for free at counters but trying to find a matching set is difficult.
My favourite method of re-buttoning something is to hunt a secondhand jacket with the buttons I like and buy it. Full set of buttons for a couple of quid to a charity.
I recently got a full set of leather knot buttons off an old Harris tweed jacket FOR €3.00

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

The Button Factory in Cork is great.

Crown Jewels beside the powerscourt centre might be good

You could try Dublin woolen mills. They do a massive selection of buttons for fairly cheap or maybe Hickeys?

Trimmings beside the Hapenny bridge are good, they have a really random selection so there is sure to be something you'd like!

    Otherwise how about ebay?
