I find chick lit tends to fall into two categories - shining white and coated black.

Wait, what the hell is chick litt?

Are there two Ts in literature these days?

Of course there are two t's in literature.
Of course it's "lit" and not "litt".

    So you both fail.

If i seen my OH picking up a girl magazine and reading parts of it, it wouldn't bother me. I find that if he is reading it he is just having a nose at what these magazines 'think' is going on in womens heads.

Also to note, I read Top gear magazines and Comp/pc magazines. Not all women limit their reading material to love/hate relationship fiction/drivel.

Must say, if he was constantly doing it and bringing home more girly mags than i was then I would start to get worried!

I ordered one of the true blood books to tide me over until the next season starts, didn't realise they were girly books until my GF started taking the piss out of me for buying it...
The bastards have taken vampires from us now as well! Pretty soon we'll have nothing left!!!:(

Only if his other half is called Frank
So guys, would you ever read your girlfriends chick litt? Would you judge your mates for doing so?

Personally I wouldn't , but a pretty little thing like you can do whatever she wants.

Have to say I'd consider 'The Time Travellers Wife' to be more literature than chick-lit. Very well written book and I enjoyed it.

Read Bridget Jones whilst out of reading material on a holiday once. Wanted to beat her to death with her own fluffy bunny slippers by the end of it.

The only other thing I can think of I've read that might count as "chick-lit" would be Polo by Jillie Cooper but that was more 'soft-core porn for ladies' imho.

I'll read the side of a corn flakes packet if there's nothing else around but it'll be a cold day in hell before I read a Georgina Ahern "novel".

Womens mags are awful, they don't even have nice looking birds in them. All the models are usually some sort of stick thin Heroin addict looking yolk.

Indeed, most of them seem like they were written by Brad and Angelina's kid, Shiloh Pitt.

Surely it would be more a "widowed and remarried" or "jilted at the alter" option? :)

School playground's got to be tough for that kid.

I always flick through Cosmopoliton when I'm in the doctors / dentists waiting room .There's enough intresting stuff there to satisfy all curiositys ...even if it's just temporally :)

My woman loves Terry Pratchett and hates twilight even more than I do, so it's not really an issue for me

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    No
Meh, read whatever you like. God knows, if I gave two ****s what people thought of what I read, I'd have had to put away all the Terry Pratchett books and graphic novels years ago. "What ya reading that kids stuff for, eh?"
