Looking for IE-US voltage converter. 230 to 120.

    Need an adaptor with a transformer/voltage converter in it so I can run a US appliance off Irish mains.
    If it was a computer it wouldn't be a problem, but this thing doesn't have its own 'brick'.
    It'll look like this

    I have tried the two hardware shops on North Main Street and I've looked at Argos as well, no joy.

    Any pointers to any shops in town that stock these are very much appreciated.

    Try Marks Models near the bus station.He does a lot of model railway gear and they use transformers to power the imported sets.
