Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BBC Radio 4 on iPod Touch

I got a new 32 GB iPod Touch (3G) two weeks ago and I'm very impressed with it.
However although I can stream many radio stations using the FStream app (a few Irish, some foreign and BBC World Service), I am unable to consistently pick up BBC Radio 4 (either FM or LW).
When I initialize BBC Radio 4, it starts perfectly and keeps going for about 60-90 seconds and then just dies.
If I reconnect it, it starts again but again cuts out after a similar short time.
I have tried at least 8 different urls for this station but all behave the same if they work at all.
This does not seem to be an Internet strength problem as it cuts out at almost the same point every time.
Note that BBC World Service works perfectly for me through FStream.
Indeed, I have no problems with any of the other stations I've tried on the iPod.
In addition, I can get BBC Radio 4 on my computer (it's a widget on my MacBook) and this too works perfectly.
Also, even though I'm not in the UK (I'm in Limerick), I can use the BBC iPlayer to listen to live Radio 4.
Although there is a mobile version of the BBC iPlayer on my iPod Touch, unlike the computer version, even radio is not available to anybody outside the UK.
Has anybody in Ireland been able to receive BBC Radio 4 on either an iPod Touch or iPhone?

You can get WunderRadio from the App Store.
It's able to play the RealAudio format, which Radio 4 also streams in.

    Thanks for the reply.
However, I already found that the tunin.fm app (also called iCarRadio) is able to stream all BBC radio stations including radio 4.
This app is also free while Wunderradio is a paid app.
AFAIK, BBC radio streams now in wma format rather than real.
    Thanks again
