    Hi savemejebus
No, I mean if there is an active connection to your house, ie: a box outside, or in the basement etc. Without knowing your house I cannot comment specifically. (As your neighbours experience may not be the same for you)

Place your order and our crews will connect you if possible if there is a cable there, if not they will advise us of the status of the survey and we can discuss options with you.

    Thanks again

    Regards

    Jason
    Hi Jason,

Just talked to my neighbour who said they had to get new cable from the street into the house. Is that what you meant by "new cable from outside".

    Thanks
If you want to order new products from UPC and get a voucher for €50 to spend in the Carphone Warehouse or DID Electrical through this boards offer, (and free activation of product) just click through this link http://www.upc.ie/boardsoffer/ (Please see the terms & conditions)

Want to see our products in use? Come into our new store in Carphone Warehouse on Henry Street, Dublin 1 and play with our HD TV and 30mb broadband yourself. Seeing is believing.

    Hi SemperFidelis

Our normal Digital plus box is now black and you connect via scart. If you want a HDMI Digital plus box you need to order Digital Plus HD, the DVR in the HD digital plus box is a 320gb disc. It also comes with a HDMI cable.

    Hi Fol20

The offer is actually a €50 voucher not €50 off, and that is still live and available.

To qualify, you need to order a new product from us via this boards link www.upc.ie/boardsoffer (upgrades to an existing service do not qualify)

hi i am wondering if you can help me out here
    where do i start lol
ok i have cable digital max + 2 extra boxes included is the disney channel's and broadband which is 30 mb for all that i pay 98.74

now i was browsing and seen the fibre power ultimate and was intrested in it
as i get an extra 20mb and fone with freetime world included with everything that i already have + the €50 voucher and it is €5 cheaper than what i am paying now!

now here is the intresting part i rang up customer service today and asked if i could do that and was told yes, if i stay with them for another 12mths no probs as long as they eventually fix my prob
but was also told i would have to pay extra fees for connecting fone and change of modem
i tried to ask to wave the fees for the reason i have been getting very bad service to my tv and broadband for the last 3+
AND WAS STILL TOLD HAD TO PAY THE FEES

    Hi

These are issued direct by the retail partner and are subject to their normal voucher rules. I do think they are valid for 12 months.

At the moment we have upc. Were paying 90e for 20mb bb,phone and tv.. We now se there is a 60e deal with better items.

Wouldnt it make more sense for us to cancel upc and just re order to get the new offer and 50e voucher

though i did get it sorted in the end (signed up for another 12 mths)
ring and let them know you want to "upgrade" to that package for the price stated + another 12mth contract (but you may not get the voucher) unless you fill out the link that jason provided Cough..Cough i'd try that way Cough..Cough
sorry bout that something in my throat

    Hi Fol20

If you are interested in moving to one of our new faster speeds etc then you can do so by calling 1908, and they can talk you through your options which will involve a new 12 month contract and in the case of 50 or 100mb broadband, a new modem. Whatever you decide to do, as you are an existing UPC cuistomer, and will be upgrading, this offer will not be valid for you as upgrades do not qualify.

    Regards

Yo Jason I was on the phone earlier with one of your fellows.
I was told a phone for my phone package costs 15 euro extra.
I thought the first one was free.

    Hi Nollog

No, you were quoted correct, it is €15 if you want us to supply you with a dect phone (eircom charge €60 for the same one) or if you already have a dect phone you can use your own one, you do not need to order a phone handset off us.

    Hi there

Yes, I am happy to say that for a limited time, we are also allowing bundle orders that come in via boards have 1/2 price for 2 months, as well as free activation and a €50 voucher.

Here are the terms & conditions:
2 Months half price and free connection & a €50 voucher with boards orders

Offer is only valid when people buy via www.upc.ie/boardsoffer and only applies to the Triple Play (TV, Broadband/Phone) and Dual Play (Broadband/phone) bundles.

This is a 4 week offer running from today until 31st July, at which point the standard boards offer commences again.

The 1/2 price for 2 months offer is only applicable when you order a new Triple Play or Broadband/phone Bundle.

Upgrades to an existing bundle do not qualify.

If you also take a new HD, MRV, Anytime World subscription on top of the bundles outlined will have the ½ promotion applied to the full amount.

    e.g. Fibre Power Starter €65 plus Digital+HD €5, MRV €5 and Double your speed to 50Mb for €5 and Anytime €5 = €85 - ½ price offer applied = €42.50

Product Up-sells such as Sky Sports and Setanta will not have the ½ price offer applied regardless if purchased at the same time as a bundle.

If you order just one new product, you will still get free activation and a €50 voucher, please view the terms here and place your order www.upc.ie/boardsoffer

**Please note, if you order anywhere else before you see this offer, unfortunately you will not qualify. You must order via this link www.upc.ie/boardsoffer

    Thanks for your understanding.

Any questions on this, just email retailsales@upc.ie or feel free to call my team direct until 6pm 1890940635

    Enjoy!

    Thanks a million

Hi Jason, Any idea when the broadband and phone will be out in Ratoath? Myself and a lot of the neighbours in our residents committe are using SKY but would all love to move to the UPC all in one package. Cheers.

    Hi crustybread

Nothing visible in my system currently that I can see I am afriad with regard to broadband and phone, however, I can tell you that you can avail of our Digital + TV service, meaning you can get the channels, pause, record and series link functionality from us, so if you are looking to save money switching from SKY, you can do that in Ratoath already.

    For example:

Digital Value + = 85 Channels, including Setanta Ireland @ €23 per month, installed free and you get a €50 voucher if ordered here on boards www.upc.ie/boardsoffer

Digital Select + = 124 Channels, including Setanta Ireland & ESPN Sports @ €32 per month, installed free and you get a €50 voucher if ordered here on boards www.upc.ie/boardsoffer

Digital Max + = 147 Channels, including Setanta Ireland & ESPN Sports @ €35 per month, installed free and you get a €50 voucher if ordered here on boards www.upc.ie/boardsoffer

You will also get SKY Sports & Movies FREE for 2 months if you subscribe.

And if that is not enough, you also get the Digital TV pack 1/2 price for the 1st two months too.

If interested in a free survey, to get digital tv, just fill in the details here www.upc.ie/boardsoffer

    Hope that helps

    Regards

    Jason

Jason sign me up to the complete package :) 300 meters of cable (or the lack of it) is keeping me from signing up, the bundle I put together totals €181/month. Hoping to see UPC in my estate one day.
