Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ok. i reckon 70 appearances is plenty of opportunity to judge a player. attitude stinks. brainless. poor touch. decent shot though to be fair.

Never playing 2 full games in a row in 3 years is plenty a reason to justify your analysis above.

why is he still at the club then? Rafa obviously feels his attitude is sufficiently good to be a liverpool player, because otherwise he could have sold him, replaced him with any number of players with good attitudes/decent ability and had plenty of change.
Rafa clearly feels he has more to offer than someone like that. He deserves starting chances in games like this, otherwise not cashing in on him was a terrible move

Pretty sure it was because people didnt believe Benitez would get the money to reinvest in the squad.

It isnt ridiculous. Never given the opportunity to play 2 full games on the bounce is 3 years is imo.
He hasn't deserved it though. His appearances have only disappointed.

Am I completely mad here, why start with Mascherano? Why have Carra at right back instead of Degan? Why not have 2 up front? Why do we have to put up with this against a team who wouldn't look out of place in the championship?

Riera should be dragged off the pitch.

Riera honestly looks like he spent the day in the pub.

Thats your choice. However trying to be funny, saying we haven't 'seen' babel to know if he's any good is ridiculous. That's all i was pointing out

Yeah i've actually seen enough of him to see he warrants a chance in this team, im not his biggest fan but just look at how terrible we are these days, surely a change wouldn't hurt.

Every player who arrives at a club for the money rafa splashed on him deserves 5/6 games on the trot to justify a judgement either way. 10 mins a fortnight is no good to babel, benitez, liverpool fc, the fans or the balance sheet.

There isnt a player in history who got better on the bench.

Looks like Babel's gonna get half an hour.

    Riera has been embarresing

Standard of commentary is appalling. Kenna can't pronounce half the names (even very high profile players like Mascherano).

The main commentator has called Skrtel Agger twice. It's not like they even look alike from a distance, Skrtel stands out with his shaved head.

Seriously don't know how these people are in jobs

This is one of the worst games I've seen this season. Unirea are just terrible, Liverpool better quality, but dragged down to their level.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

yossi is the perfect example for babel to follow. wasn't gettin much game time-impressed in cameos he had, got chances to start and grabbed it wit both hands.

In fairness to him he's been ravaged wth injuries this season but he is very much hit and miss tbh. Mostly miss.

Jeff Kenna and that no-neck fat lad that does (did?) the TV3 breakfast show. I think it's a perfect bit of casting actually, they suit the dross I'm watching perfectly. The whole thing is like a performance art intereptation of a migraine.

Aqualani was very poor tonight against an average side at best.

    Very worrying
