Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys, My niece is being christened sunday week. I'm going to be the godmother so i figure i'm going to need something fairly dressy. Not too sure what I'm supposed to wear though as its my first time being a godmother. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

"Sunday best" would be perfectly OK.

I find that some people think if they are going to a christening they need to dress for a wedding. Its ridiculous. You are only in the church for less than an hour, and most head to a pub then.
If it is during the day, I agree with the sunday best comment. If it is in the evening, and you are going out after Id wear a dress with a nice dressy coat. Most people dont even take off their coats in the church, bbrrrr, so it would be the coat that is seen in the pics.
