I'd like to get myself properly tested with people who know what they're doing, e.g. power ramp tests, blood lactate testing, VO2Max etc.

Happy to pay, don't fancy waiting weeks to arrange it.

I'm 35y/o and healthy, based in Dublin.

You can try Bernard Donne in Trinity. €60 or so I think I paid for testing last year, happy enough with the experience.

The training advice I got at the end of the test was a bit "meh" but all I really wanted out of it was V02max and HR at lactate threshold so I could work out my HR zones.

UCD have a (relatively) new High Performance Centre. Have not heard any reviews as yet - just noticed as i work nearby.

I've been lab tested in a couple of labs and to be honest some of them use crappy equipment and crappy protocols - including one of the more popular ones. Others use cutting edge technology and world class expertise. PM if interested in specifics.

I have some limited experience of ucd high performance centre. the lads certainly seem knowledgeable and quite friendly. Dont know anything about what they'd be like on the cycling front though
