Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Firewall Turning Off

Running XP Home, SP3, and recently installed dropbox. Since then, I have noticed that windows firewall turns itself off without warning. Also running AVG Internet Security 9.0, but it's firewall always ran alongside windows firewall. Any suggestions, or will AVG protect me?

AVGs firewall will do the job. You shouldn't really have windows firewall, plus avgs firewall running. (didn't think it was possible, but how and ever)

Truth is, firewalls are kinda overkill for home users (in my opinion).. if you've got a router, you're already behind a firewall.

Thanks! That puts my mind at ease, as it has only started happening!
