Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Lads,

Quick question if someone could help.

Had a service with Autofast today, was advised that the back engine mounting is worn and needs replacing.

Has anyone have any experience with this, is it a serious enough problem or is it readily fixed or something more complicated.

    The car is a 99 Peugeot 406.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Typically this is just a rubber bushing that sits between the engine and subframe and isolates engine vibrations.

Unless the layout of the engine is ridiculously awkward, no more than half an hour and a hundred bucks to get it sorted.

Undo a few bolts, jack engine up an inch, old part out, new part in, redo bolts, done.
