Hi all, going walking this weekend with a mate. We are reasonably experienced in outdoors. I`m looking for a nice walk. Preferably a loop walk where we can drop car and get back to it. We`ve done most of 12 pins, maumturks. Any body got some routes ye have done in past??

Coranabinnia (spelling?) horseshoe to the North of Clew Bay is a good circuit.

There is one airy section which needs care, but other than that it's fairly straight forward.

    Smashing views of course.

You ascend Bengorm from a small car park on a road to the South - sorry, don't have a map handy to look this up.

ended up going out towards finney. stopped just off lough nafooey and climbed ben beag then across to bunnacunneen. Great walk, steep climbs at start but well worth it as ground is lovely for walking on top.definitely be going back around that area, so many places to climb..

Come back for the Joyce Country Challenge on July 17th. The route does the full circuit around Na Fooey.http://lakedistricthwc.com click JCC link
Joyce Country does not have the Kudos of the Bens or the Turks but it is a great place to walk
