Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I use "Unlocker" too - and as a back-up I use the "Assassin" tool in Malwarebytes free Malware app.

boot onto a live linux cd/dvd and delete it that way, or do the above.

Unlocker never (rarely anyway) fails. Safe Mode should do the trick too. Also check the Process tab in Task Manager in case the file is in use.

Does unlocker work on Win7 64bit?

I have it on my XP rig & find it great.

Try deleting it in safe mode from a command prompt.
