do any provider's offer decent upload and fixed IP?

    trying to find a bb provider who can offer decent upload speeds with a fixed IP address?

    any suggestions.

    eircom want €183 for installation and 135 a month for 12mb dl and 3mb upload with fixed IP

    and chorus dont offer fixed IP to home customer's.

    All depends on where you are based.

    Smart Telecom's OnNet (LLU) products offer uploads of 1Mbps and a static IP for an extra €10 and €5 per month for residential customers and included for business customers

    Irish Broadband's Breeze fixed wireless is 4Mbs up and down for €54.78 pm plus €100 installation - not sure if fixed IP is available

    Digiweb's Metro fixed wireless may also be an option for you

    OP, checkout dyndns, they offer a free service for accessing a dynamic ip. Your router will also need to support it.

    based in clonmel in tipperary.

    just off the phone to business ntl department, and they offered me the following.

    30mb down 3mb upload
    €69 per month with free installation.
    fixed IP address with option for 9 more for a small extra charge.

    phone package for €18 per month.

    cant fault them on their price.

    Likely the best you'll get too especially compared to Eircom Business.

    If BT Business or Smart are in your area you might want to look at them also

    Was just going to say give UPC/NTL a ring. And their 30meg down / 3meg up is actually 35down / 5up.. Well it is for me atleast :D
