Is there a simple way to emulate a webserver to try out wordpress

    Hi,

    I hope this is the place to ask. I wanna try wordpress to create a magazine website but it usually requires uploading to a WebHost which I don't have.

    I just want to try out the application and was wondering if there is an easy way of emulating a webserver without actually having one so I can test it.

    Wordoress has alot of .php files so the emulator has to be able to understand those. Not sure if it also has MySQL files.

    If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    Download xampp for windows and follow the documentation. You will also need mySQl
