Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why are people applauding benny for not going down,he got fouled!,he skips by defender, defender gets none of the ball and makes clear contact with benny who fails to go down and win what was a clear penalty,
    he made refs decision impossible,
We should applaud players for not diving, but not for getting fouled in the box and doing their up most to stay on feet regardless of that foul, why applaud that, thats just silly!,,thats making refs job impossible,,
ref could not award penatly Coz of his actions,,,,,,

The ref could still quite easily have awarded a penalty, he just chose not to. Maybe if ref's did award these things without players diving around, the diving around might stop.

When you bring riera into your argument for this season you are talking BS to be frank He has been an embarasment on the pitch this season. Kuyt has been woeful for 95% of the season (and plays entire games regardless). I have never criticised lucas once on this forum but he is not the required standard midfielder yet to play 30+ games and challenge.

    Jesus Christ again.

I strongly disagree with your claims on Kuyt and Riera, for the few games the Spaniard has played.

Just seeing the Yossi penalty chance at the end. Glad he stayed up when he could.Always prefer to see that whether its for or against Liverpool.
Chances are ref wouldnt have given the penalty anway. Missed alot. Including Mascherano's stamp on City player. Should really have gone for that challenge.

hopefully precedence over last few weeks will be followed, wouldn't he get 5 matches this time as would his third ban this season?

Again I think ref would not have given it. He missed Aggers push on Adebayor and Mascherano's stamp. Maybe Benny felt he had a better chance of staying on his feet
