Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I fcuking love Reina.

Mash giving away plenty of frees, he may see red today

If he does how many games would he miss seeing as he's been off twice already this season

Kuyt up-front = full of fail

Stick Babel up there and switch Kuyt out right for a bit.

Carra does that to. You cant blame the captain for showing a bit of leadership. its a big game.

His link up play is shocking unless he has 10 yards of space. Maxi has disappeared aswel.

    Screaming at someone isn't leadership.

If anything Gerrard has been anything but a captain today imo.

Looks to do something when he gets on the ball, but when City have the ball his work rate has been atrocious.

Definitely not looking good, he should be taken off at HT for Aquilani.

Shouting at a player for not giving you the ball when he was surrounded by three players isn't leadership. Carra shouts to organise his defence I can understand that but Gerrards simply moaning

    Come on city

Ireland of last year would have turned and buried that

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

What the **** was Ireland thinking? Turned behind when there was no one but the goalkeeper to beat!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,599 ✭✭✭Ferris_Bueller

Liverpool have been very poor so far I think, their touch is sloppy nearly everytime and the passing isn't good, how many times have we seen a simple pass go wrong today?

Agree that Gerrards attitude doesn't seem to be helping the team at all today.

Think its only a matter of time until Man City punish our mistakes

His leadership has been atrocious all season to be honest. He looks so disinterested when we don't have the ball. Liverpool have been better. They are winning the midfield battle but we have nothing up front. Sadly, despite being the more dominant team, City look more likely to score.

Oh god... Terrible from Reina, that's himself, Agger, Lucas, and Babel nearly totally messing it up!

    Need to get better, fast!

    Anyone watching care to say???

Skrtel's 50p head to the fore again.

Gerrard's corners have been quite good today

City look good on the break. Liverpools midfield are winning all the 50/50s but their defence has been looking dodgy. City look more likely to get a goal.

lol @ the half time music.

    "Dont stop believing"

The City management must be well aware of what the fans think of Mancini so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,385 ✭✭✭✭D'Agger

So far poor passing has been our downfall - Lucas has been poor, Maxi did SFA and Kuyt is chronic playing as a lone striker. Been sound enough at the back Adabayors been quiet as a mouse and if City are going to score its almost guranteed to be down to the exploits of Adam Johnson he's been fantastic so far imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,588 ✭✭✭daithijjj

The ref is 'homer' with flashing the yellow cards. When football was a mans game, instead of a pansies day out, gerrards tackle would have got a standing ovation tbh.

Yea, City are on top, Defending well (surprise surprise) and Midfield winning too, just not creating a lot of chances yet, some good breaks and Johnson is excellent so far.

Skertal should have scored. Looks like it'll finish a draw.

What did Gerrard get booked for at the end, I missed it?

Lucas lay-off to Gerrard was a joke. He constantly plays the ball into space whether anyone is there or not doesn't matter. Nothing new though.
