Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

photography courses

    Hi all
    I was wondering about courses,
    Heres the thing I'm just starting out I want to do a course preferably a weekend course or a 3 day or a week course I'd prefer not to do a night course,
    I'm in Tipperary but I don't mind traveling, I'm interested in landscape photography and wouldn't mind touching into macro,
    I've read a couple of books and have a grasp of it (be it a weak one!)

    I read thru the FAQs but some of the courses are a bit vauge about the content,
    any help would be appreciated

    Most of the courses really aren't worth the money, IMO, unless you've just picked up a camera for the very first time.

    The thing is sometimes I just miss the mark totally,
    I can't find a camera club near me either. I've been googling courses and I've came across a couple of DVD's I wonder are they of any use?

    I've heard lots of good things about the IOP courses, Dublin based but you might be able to make something work.

    There are a couple of clubs in Tipp, Thurles, Clonmel and Carrick are on this list or maybe some of the clubs in neighbouring counties might suit?
