Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

played for a 0-0 draw at home.

Akinfeev made 2 stunning saves early on, seriously ****ing spiderman. When he moves to a bigger club he will be the best keeper in the world unless LLoris moves 1st :pac:

he is too error prone imho

Messi today on the Champions league: “Once again, I expect the big challenge to come from England in the Champions League.”

“I see United as a threat because of the lightning-fast way they change tempo and they now have a striker who cannot stop making an impression in Rooney."

"Finally, Arsenal are a team to consider because of their fantastic build-up play.”

“They are like us at Barca in so many ways.”

“Rather than being from London, they should be from South America. Andrei Arshavin and Cesc Fabregas are touch-players I love to watch.”

A Barca player fapping over Fabregas again, there's something you don't see often.

The big news is that Ibra has been dropped. Simple as, no injury just dropped.

I am amazed that Hleb is being allowed to play against Barca. It's just asking for embarassment.

Well, Ibrahimovic has shown himself to be a bottler in the Champions League, so no surprise he's warming the bench :pac:

Didnt he not score the goal in Stuttgart ?

Henry will be the in the centre up top. Messi and Pedro out wide.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Nah, Messi and Henry will interchange a hell of a lot tonight I reckon.
Guessing Messi will start centerally, he's done quite a bit before.

Pedro usually plays on the right.

Kind of suprised Ibra ain't starting. Though he's been awful lately.

    Gwan Bordeuax btw.

ITV interviewer jus asked Christian Gross "if AC Milan couldn't stop Rooney, how can you stop Messi?"

What sort of ****ingg question is that? How is that relevant?

I see Barca going through 2 nil on the night. Stut. will put it up to them as they soak up the pressure, deny Barca space and try to nick a goal from a break/set piece, but it is a very big pitch and Barca's creativity will eventually prove the difference.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

    Set piece. Bordeaux. Goal :pac:

Watched the Bordeaux match because I knew Barcelona would just walkover Stuttgart.

Bordeaux dominating, but Olympiacos have had a few chances too. Gourcuff looks the standout player so far, although the Olympiacos winger Zahiri looks decent too.

Some goal in the Bordeaux v Olympiakos game, 1-1 now.

If Olympiakos can score 1 more and not concede, they go through on Agg.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Liverpool legend Alou Diarra has been sent off for Bordeaux now

Derbyshire been sent off for Olympiakos as well.

All of a sudden, Bordeaux have just turned to complete crap and Olympiacos look the better team :D

Bordeaux getting battered now! Brilliant game.

chamakh doesnt look like a natural scorer

iv never been that impressed with him but if Arsenal can get him on the free its worth a punt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

I was going to say that Bordeaux could be contenders after the first half, but this second half performance has been dire.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

    Chamakh, 2-1

Glad Bordeaux are going through though. It would be a travesty if players like Lua Lua, Raul Bravo and Matt Derbyshire were playing in the quarter finals.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

Bojan scores with his first touch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,171 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Bordeaux will get Arse in the quarter finals and Chamakh will score the winner after Bendtner misses about 4 open goals.
