Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I'm taking off the rear wheel of my honda st. It's shaft driven so I need to grease up the splines with something called moly grease. The owners manual says to use moly grease and all of the american forums say to use the same thing. Does anyone know where I can buy this or even heard of this?

Any good autofactors will stock it. It's a grease specifically formulated for high temperature conditions. If you were to use any other grease then kiss goodbye to your splines after a few thousand miles.

I got the stuff from Halfords as above. DO you think that'll do the job?

To be honest I dont think Id use the comma stuff. Honda recommend that the molybdenum disulfide content is at least 60%. Its unlikely that the comma is this content (and according to the Data sheet its only good for 120 degrees)
I just wouldnt take the chance with the splines.
There are a few options, first is Honda Moly 60 (pn 08734-0001). I got it from David Silver, but im sure honda in dublin have it. Another option is Loctite 8012 Moly Paste. Its only a tenner.. and will last you forever.

Oh s**t, I put the halfords stuff on my splines, I'd better get the stuff from Honda and change it the weekend.
