Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The lighting and PP I really like! The very lightly cross processed look works well.

I just don't know about the background? Also she looks awkward as hell in that pose..

I'd have to agree with the pose, it kinda looks like she's being squashed by the ceiling. Background is fine for me though.. and PP is spot on.

Love the PP again Id second that her pose is a little squashed.dunno maybe a lower angle?

I don't know why you'd darken her left arm, considering her right one is so dark you've lost near all detail in it. The flare... or whatever it is... on her stomach takes away a lot of detail and isn't the most flattering, but then if we're talking about flattering, we'd have to look at that pose!

It makes the poor girl look like she needs to go to the loo rather badly uncomfortable, nevermind having one leg bigger than the other and needing the cane to balance herself because of it. Poses like that would work best with a more aggressive posture on the upper half of the body, rather than leaning on the cane.

The processing is 'alright' but I'd work to get a bit more detail out of it, her legs are pretty much 255 giving no detail on the lower leg/shoes.

Amusing, given that I'm fairly certain the building is the public toilet at Brittas Bay.

    OP, is it?

i think its a sensor problem, its cropping up on alot of images, didnt even notice it

my screen shows leg detail, lack of calibration is not helping.

cheers al, nice and detailed as ever

    Reshoot.

The model is gorgeous, the location is great, the pp is lovely but the poses seem off. Both poses, although your model was obviously comfortable giving variety, seem to be very unflattering of her to be honest. Was it just the one outfit you shot with? I think it's more the jacket giving problems, it's hiding body shape and by looking closely I'm sure this girl has a lovely figure I just dont think the jacket suits, I know you are most likely not looking for c&c on the clothes but its my 2 cents anyway.

Second pose is not flattering, tbh it makes her look like the michelin man at the start of a dodgy porno. First pose makes her like she should be upping her activia intake.

I like the locations and pp though!

I think you need an orange box to stand on when taking photos of lovely tall models. Her head looks so small in comparison to her lower half. Just my humble opinion

i really do quite suck at modelling shoots, i must have done 20 now and still head up me arse with the whole thing... any good sources to research? Another set for next week, studio this time tho

Tbh, I don't think you know what you're shooting. Go get 20 quid out of the ATM, go into Easons and pick up i-D, Dazed & Confused and Nylon Magazine for a start. Tear out photos you like and write down why you like them. Compile list of what you like. Break down how one would recreate it. Think about how you'd prefer to see it done in a blue sky scenario. Add with equal amounts of reality and apply to the photoshoot you have coming up. Discuss with team before the shoot. Keep notes and imagery handy during the shoot in case your mojo runs dry. Win.

To be honest, that second pose really does not work. It says BELLY, and she doesn't have a belly. If you yourself were not happy, put your hands up and say it, and ask to reshoot with a better idea of what you want.

coming to this a bit late, love the post, hate the pose, a higher viewpoint might help and judicious swiveling from the hip - there are a few pointers here.

What is is with modern models looking like they have Rickets disease or that they're auditioning for the hunchback of Notre Dame? They all look terrible in those contorted, crouched poses.

I think, if you are going to go for those type of poses, then perhaps the clothes they are wearing need to be very figure hugging. The 'crouched' look is lost in the sackishness of the clothes.
