Favourite Metal Band at the Moment: I can't stop listening to Hawkwind for some reason. Never really got them before and now I want to go back to 1971, take loads of acid and join them. They were much heavier than I ever thought.

then again, anyone who has ever seen TOOL, know's that you would be lucky to get a "hello" from those guys...and yet that doesn't seem to make a difference

Obviously first time seeing them then? Don't think I've ever heard them utter a word to the crowd, seen them 3 times. Didn't like them much before first saw them, couldn't care if they said anything or not.

I noticed that too. They just played song after song with no acknowledgment of the crowd. It only bothered me a tiny bit though because from what I've seen of them (making of's, behind the scenes etc...) they are pretty down to earth guys who love to create and play music.
