The barrell is 20" long and John had it in stock at the time is about the only reasion I went for it. I will replace it in time for a 1in9 or even a 1in8.
I am getting touching groups at 100m and inch at 200 ( prior to putting the AI stock on ), I'll see what it makes at 300 on Friday as ill probably head to Tullamore.
Yea the rifle is quite heavy but that doesn't particularly bother me to be honest.

There are no proffing houses for alterations in Ireland and as far as I am aware once you don't alter the action or calibre you should be fine with regards to liscence., this is not ideal as some alterations may be open to question from the Gardai.

How much for the AI stock?
I have an rem 700 VS SFII .223
    One Q?
Can the adjustable cheek piece be fired off the left shoulder?
ie: Is the cheek adjustment ambi dexterous?
The Tikka T3 shoct is ambi dexterous Via unscrewing the adjusting knob and putting it on the other side.

    Hi Tackleberry,
The stage 1.5 is about €650-€700 and the stage 2 is about another 300.
The stock is designed for military use rebust and totally ambidextrous (I am left handed)

What ammo are you feeding her?

Last batch I purchased was from Mid west sporting supplies in New Market on Fergus in County Clare. Might be worth a try.

How much did you pay, and will it take a Harris bi-pod or does one have to use an AI bipod?
I see one on sporting services for £600stg
    Credit union might be needed!
