Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Camera Recommendation for Occassional Product Shots and Personal Photography

    Hi all,

I dropped my camera yesterday and am now looking for a new one.

As you can see from my sig, I run a website and have the ocassional need to take product shots. However, I don't think this would justify the expense of a DSLR.

Could someone recommend a camera under €200 that would take decent product shots and is also ok for personal use?

Also, with a €200 budget, would I be better off buying a new lower end camera or a used higher end one?

    Many thanks in advance.

There are a multitude of P&S's that will fit your Budget.

Getting a more expensive camera will not help you a whole lot unless you want to spend some time learning about Photography & Exposure. If you do that then a Bridge Camera (either new or used) will do a whole lot more, but you will have to know how to operate it correctly as the better image comes from the Photographer & not the Camera.
