Earning Irish Qualifications in Foreign Countries

Hello. Really not sure where to put this but I think this is the best place so that people who work or know about development issues might see it.

I'm trying to create a qualification right now for students I taught in India. They don't have a suitable one in India, I'm trying to pretty much bring the Leaving Cert Applied over, but it's more Junior Cert standard really so I have to start from scratch.

If anyone know anyone who has done this I'd be very grateful if they got in touch. I know Camara have a computer course that is taught in Africa and accredited in Ireland. Also Global Schoolroom has a teacher training course run by UCD and given in India. I've been in touch with these, hoping to hear back from them soon.

I keep hearing about people doing the Leaving Cert in different countries, but can't find anything online. I just want to know the logistics of how people went about doing this. We're a well meaning bunch, but that not enough to get this off the ground.

Our website is www.irelandindia.org and if you click on 'Current Project' at the top you can read all about what we're trying to achieve.

I know it's slim that anyone will respond to this but I thought I might as well try, someone may know somebody.
    Cheers.
