Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    are there
brazil goals later in it ????

i do enjoy a goals compilation video :D

Put in his most important Brazil goals - the two vs Germany in the 02 final, and his goals from th 2006 World Cup that made him the tournaments all time leading scorer.

You need the music from when it shows his injuries, its the most important part! Trust Me! ;)

    yep.

    that got me a bit.

the whole thing was excellent, but the music ties his injuries and Corinthians career in very nicely.

one thing that's very noticeable is the amount of goals he got careering through the middle of defences.

plus the amount of times he rounds keepers. pure class.

Nice. Good impact sub for the world cup? I'd love to see it, but i don't think it's on the cards.

sad to see him confirm his retirement he was one of the first players i watched when i was young. such a gifted player

Easily the best striker I've ever seen. Was lucky (unlucky) enough to see him in OT when he scored the hat-trick to put Real through.

You can talk about finishers all day like Romario but he added a little bit extra up front than others. If he got the ball outside the box a nice bit from goal, you still had to stand up and take notice.

Just a pity he had so many injuries (and party) problems during his career. I'm sure he'll have regrets.

his participation in the WC depends on how many strikers Dunga will take imo

there will be plenty of public pressure on him to bring him also

The strikers who are guaranteed to go (barring injury) are

Pato and Fabiano are on the plane, Robinho too almost guaranteed

Nilmar has a good shout, not too sure after that...Adriano might force his way on the plane yet, Julio Baptista?

The midfield will take up plenty of space in the Brazil team

Ronaldinho,Kaka,Silva,Ramires,Elano,Lucas,Mello,Kleberson all have plenty of claims to the squad

Guaranteed to go imo are Silva, Ronaldino, Kaka and Melo, i expect Kleberson to get the nod ahead of Ramires but i may be wrong with Lucas and Elano also getting the nod

The players in contention make it difficult to see Ronaldo getting his swansong

you know what, ill try simplify this

    Goalkeepers

    Julio Cesar, Doni, Gomes

    Defenders

Lucio, Maicon, Alves, Gilberto/Kleber, Juan, Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Alex,

    Midfielders

Kaka, Silva, Melo, Elano, Lucas, Kleberson/Ramires, Julio Baptista, Diego

    Forwards

    Ronaldinho, Pato, Fabiano, Adriano/Nilmar/Hulk/RONALDO!

few other possibilities too like Fred/Josue/Sandro/Renan/Rafinha/Rafael Sobis!

im sure im leaving people out! but as you can see it will be tough for Ronaldo to get the call up, especially since he hasnt been included in the warm up game squads

as i said the public pressure to bring him probably wont have much effect on dunga, he has taken the Brazil fans bashing before and it didnt seem to faze him so im sure he will do what he thinks is best for his system, hope he brings him though, he deserves the final farewell on the biggest stage imo

I doubt the phrase "He couldn't finish his dinner" has ever been uttered about him.

He does have a beer belly that the fellahs in BGRH would be proud of. :D

He wont to the world cup, even if 90% of the current squad were killed in a place crash or something. Dunga would never abide someone so lazy tbh.

Unbelievable talent, pity about his injuries and despite them he still stuck fear into every defender he played against. People criticised his weight for years but that never seemed to affect his game.

I think also every other country going to the WC would select him for their squad if he was eligible for their country, such is the talent he still possesses
