Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey all. I've been offered a Nikon F60 with a Soligor 70-300mm lens, a Soligor 19-35mm wide angle lens and a Nikon 35-80mm lens. I'm getting the lot for 200 quid. What I'm wondering is - Will those lenses fit my Nikon D40?

If the fit the F60 they'll certainly 'fit' the D40. They almost certainly won't autofocus though, unless they're fairly modern (and AFS) and if they're manual focus they probably won't meter on the D40 either. I'd pass on it for €200 to be honest, unless you fancy shooting a bit of film or something. The F60 is a pretty old body as well.

    Thanks Daire.
I've never really used film to be honest, but I thought it'd be a good deal if the lenses would work with both cameras. I don't mind about losing autofocus as I'm trying to get used to manual anyway. Cheers.
