    Hi there

I would like to plant a .5 acre of broadleaves; this will border an existing FEPS plantation.

Has anyone got an idea how much I would need to pay a forester to carry this out?

    thanks

It will cost you nothing if you employ a forester to carry out the application and draw down the grant himself. If you just want a forester to sign an application and do up the plans it will cost around €800.

If you go onto the Society of Irish Foresters you should be able to request a price list and a register of approved foresters.

Have a look here; http://www.societyofirishforesters.ie/ or the Consultant Foresters website; http://www.aifc.ie/
