What's the latest forecast. for us uninterested Dubs then?

A meter of snow by 6 pm?

She is spitting small flakes of snow as I leave newbridge at the moment ! Has this arrived way ahead of schedule ?

    More like snizzle actually

Same here for the last half hour or so. Getting heavier now(although still very light if that makes any sense!) and blowing around in a light wind.

I'd say it will be back to rain before long as dew points are rising now already.

    2.7c DP -0.4c

The light snow here is getting heavier and flake size getting bigger now.

Ummm not exactly sure the early arrival of this front is a good thing, could be the sign that its making easier inroads into the cold.

    But we shall see.

Birds are getting noisey outside as the winds pick up!

I would say it might be a tough one, probably will start thawing from middle morning but i'd say there will be lying snow and perhaps a decent bit.

light snow shower here in bray, not sleety at all really, only lasted just less than a minute but has given me high hopes for this afternoons fall :P 3.8/-0.6 .... just started up again, more sleety this time but still more like snow than sleet :)

i'd say there will be a messy mix of rain and sleet there tomorrow. any lieing snow there should have long gone by then

i didn't see weathercheck's post before posting. flutegirl, i'd go with what he says. as he knows more about the weather than me. i was basing my prediction on the milder air making it's presence felt quicker than anticipated.

Heavier sleet in Dublin CC now but it is quite wet....it isn't particularly constant though so it could be dry enough to stick if it starts to snow properly later.
