I dont know what to make of things at the moment.

Front has arrived early but appears a rather weak feature.

Models had it arriving later and being more intense..

Flakes have turned to very light snow here now.. nice surprise.

Snow (light) right on the coast here in North Dublin. I was right all along:rolleyes:

Should not last too long though.

I would say it might be a tough one, probably will start thawing from middle morning but i'd say there will be lying snow and perhaps a decent bit.
i didn't see weathercheck's post before posting. flutegirl, i'd go with what he says. as he knows more about the weather than me. i was basing my prediction on the milder air making it's presence felt quicker than anticipated.

Grand, will be prepared for everything when I look out the window in the morning.

Getting heavier now and swirling around in the chiller east wind. This is expected to turn to rain/sleet though is it not?

  • Registered Users Posts: 70 ✭✭garyha

there is already sleet/rain mixed up in this snow in Dublin CC right now, best not to get too carried away..
