Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,

    What's the feedback on the above? I had a NS1 80 and a RG 125. Looking at a 06 / 07 SV650.

Has anyone any experience of the bike? I'm looking at a non ferned machine.

    Feedback appreciated

Great bike to start on, was my first big bike... just sold my 05 and bought a 600rr...

Very forgiving, great torque range & a good power band low down... comfortable and reliable if you get a good one... - make sure you get a good one tho, if you get a bad one; you'll be sorry...

Pointy's all the way - speaking as the proud owner of a SV1000 having previously owned the 650.

I had the Factory Restricted one and it was a brilliant bike. Even when restricted it had plenty of torque. You only noticed the lack of power accelerating from 120 up. I think I even Trackday'd it when Restricted.

If you do happen to get a restricted one, I have a full power ECU that is a straight plugin if ever you wanted to go that way.
