Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know at least two people who cannot get broadband by landline and yet the people who live eitherside of them can.
Does anyone know how this situation can occur and what could these 2 people do to get connected to broadband by landline in their area ?

It could be the phone wiring in the house that might not be up to scratch or more than likely the cable going to your house from the telephone pole, its niegh on impossible to get eircom to come and replace the cable. As far as their concerend as long as its good enough for voice its ok, they normall put these issues down to the local exchange.

They could be on a pairgain system which wont support broadband, you should be posting in the Broadband forum - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=34

Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means

Is that where a phone line was split in the past between 2 houses ?
Is it fixable by eircom ?
Surely the customers concerned are entitled to the same service that their neighbours are receiving !!!
