Undiscovered Covers

I was just looking at possible songs to cover today and thought id throw up a thread about it!

So, what songs out there do you thing could be possible material to cover, and what way would you cover them?

Like who would have thought Michael Jacksons Smooth Criminal would sound good as a kind of punk/rock song by Alien Ant Farm? Or who would have known that Sheryl Crows cover of Sweet Child of Mine would sound so bad!?

Thoughts anyone?

Tom Waits "Alice" from the 2002 album of the same name, would be cool to do with the film just being released.

Talking Heads "Psycho Killer", Smiths "Bigmouth", Fratellis "Black'n'Blue eyes" - all 'big' songs which can sound good adapted for acoustic.
