When you park in a disabled place particulary on a main road or car park pay and display, do you have to pay?

and when your disabled permit is to be renewed will they send you one out or do you have to renew it again :)

I am not sure about the renewal question but with regard to the p&d - generally when parking with a disabled disc you are not required to pay a parking fee. The thinking behind this is that it is generally necessary for a person with a disability to have to bring their car with them and they should not be penalised for it.

True for public (i.e. local authority) spaces, but in private car parks, you'll need to check with the car park themselves about their policy.

faolteam, No, they will not automatically send you out a new card when the old one expires. You have to renew from scratch, including a 20 Euro fee!!!!!!!

Private car-parks sometimes require payment eg. HOSPITALS!!!!! County Councils are generally more civilised and understanding.
