there is no Tesco in Ballsbridge.

Do you mean Merrion or Sandymount or another one?

Most are open pretty late, usually 7am-10pm

Tesco Merrion would have an address of Ballsbridge. It opens until 10pm every night except for Friday when it opens until 12am and Sunday, when it opens until 8pm.
Tesco Dundrum is 24 hours if you get stuck

Probably means the small one on Baggot St, just down from the bridge.
