I am in Clare and wondered, how will we know when exchanges are adsl 2+ enabled?? This will give greater speeds but as the likely chance of increasing prices is nil is it not in eeeeeeeeeeeeircon 's interest to do nothing for as long as possible? Ennis should be updated by now. ie INFORMATION AGE TOWN and all that. Does adsl2+ have to be done by eeeircon only? or could any supplier ie vodafone do it?

Any reseller can provide adsl2+ services providing the exchange is updated. Any service offering above 8Mb will be run over adsl2+ so if vodafone can offer you their 24Mb package it means ur line is on an adsl2+ exchange.
