Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone pick up on one of the commentators talking about Lucio's pedigree, mentioning all the clubs he's played at? He said he played for Real Madrid, do they even bother doing research?

plenty of "neutrals" in here lol

Sneijder is just so direct, it's brilliant to watch, exactly what Inter have been begging for the past 4 seasons.

Also, lol @ Eto'o, he does that more than you'd think, he's just not in a hotstreak at the moment.

Nah we need one goal at least.

bit to far for a shot but Sneijder is quite good with his free kicks in a more dangerous area, wouldnt wanna give him too many opportunities

I think there are goals for both teams left in this game, Chelsea look frail at the back and with Drogba on your team you always carry a goal threat so could be fireworks, or could peter out the Itlaian way :)

    looked like a 100% peno

now how did Kalou not get a yellow there?

why book milito and not Kalou, poor refereeing there

id be confident if i was ye of scoring 2 unanswered goals at the bridge either way though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,831 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

    i shouted peno there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Would have been a red as well. Terrible decision tbh.

    This.

Chelsea look like scoring one too. A 1-0 lead at home is not something to take to Stamford Bridge.

Theres some definite contact. I think what happened is that he felt the contact but it wasn't enough to bring him down and then he deicided to go down.

The dealy between offence and fall is what cost him.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

Christ that's a massive let off for Inter. Stonewall peno, not only had Stankovic the hands on the back but he caught Kalou's legs to take him down. There's actually about two or three separate fouls there.

Then again, Terry has been getting away with that kind of crap for years in the Prem so there's an element of justice to it. :D

Really need to use the width more..Gotta get Cole on for ballack

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

Officials in Europe are dead wide no doubt to Drogba's antics although that was Kalou.

    No sympathy tbh.

my first instinct with the peno shout was a dive tbh, it looked so theatrical

on seeing it again, there is contact but he does himself out of a peno by the way he elaboratly dives into the air, stupid

And if its not a peno the ref has to book him, shocking refereeing there
