How i find out where eircom exchange is

Just wondering is there a website or something.Googled with no luck just brings me to here.Posts dated back to 2005.Reason i want to know is because strangely house's 2 min walk from mine can get 7mb.Mine can only receive 3mb:mad: Do eircom upgrade these or is that it 3mb for good.I'm in Cobh co cork btw Thanks

Whatever eircom tell you you can get, is all you'll get. They never improve line quality. Even an upgrade to ADSL2+ would be unlikely to improve that speed.

Just because you're neighbours are on the 7Mbps package, doesn't mean they're actually getting or even syncing at 7Mbps.
