Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

many many apologies if this has been posted before, but I thought its worth sharing, viana needed 9 goals to get promotion via goal difference and low and behold they manage 9 goals in the last 9 minutes . . . with the help of some 'questionable' defending.

from memory, this was in response to a game the previous day, where Viana's rivals for promotion got a massive victory, also thanks to some 'questionable' defending.

...seriously though, they're just standing around the pitch waiting for them to pass them and they think sticking out a leg makes it look realistic? Nobody's even running!

One poor defender got in a decent block for the 8th or 9th goal and you can literally see the 'oh sh*t' reaction from him, luckily for him it bounced directly to the attacker again.

I think I read something about the reason the team let them score 9 goals was that it was some kind of protest against the Brazilian league for some dodgy referee decisions that prevented them from being promoted or something, so I don't think there was money involved.
