    Hey People!

Was over in NOrway for the weekend.
We Stayed in the small village called Jeggernaut about 140km outside Oslo. HAd our own cabin for the weekend ...a pool...sauna.... fire.... oh and UP TO A METER OF SNOW!!!

It was amazing! Hiking around through the woods Bear Grills Style.
I couldnt see a thermometer in the cabin but as i go into freezers in work a lot i kinda know roughly the temp. Id say it was at least -13 at night. ( which we jumped out in the snow and straight back into the pool in. Snow was so cold and dry we couldnt make a snowball or snowman.

the local ferry to Risor ( close by town) was cancelled as the lake was completly frozen over all week. I cant wait to go back next year.
Shall never get excited about snow again over here.

Here are a few pics .19760_321663058491_584113491_3642024_5568758_n.jpg

Awesome pictures. Jesus i'd give almost anything to wake up and not be able to open the front door because of snow:D. i'll readily admit if it was a regular occurrence i might get a bit annoyed, but just to be able to do so once would be brilliant!! anyone want to give me odds on us seeing a snowstorm in the next two weeks that deposits a foot and a half of snow??? ah i didn't think so:(

Ah we just went through google, typing log cabins norway . We flew into Oslo-Torp Airport so we got one close to there.
We emailed the owner through the website then they request a bank transfer for payment.

Here s a link to the site.

Our one was the Thors Lodge, Risor .

Ah ye the fact that we could just go there and experience that amount of snow just like that was brilliant, but ye as we only seen a few families living there and that they were all inside for it all id say it does get quite boring EVENTUALLY. BUt with A group of mates in the snow though....ya'll never get bored.

If you fancy going somewhere like that again, i can recommend a place call Hovden. Its quite a bit further away though.
