Music practical question

    does anyone know whether you'd be allowed go a minute or 2 over the 20 minutes you're allowed for playing your pieces? my music teacher doesnt really know alot about the practical part.

    As far as I know, the examiner will cut you off if a song is taking too long. It doesn't affect your marks.

    It depends on the examiner really. Sometimes they'll let you play your entire set of pieces without stopping you, even if you go over time (this happened in my practical last year), and sometimes they'll cut you off if you go over time (this tends to happen if there's a lot of students doing the practical in your school). There's no hard and fast rule, so don't worry too much about it.
