Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Upon seeing the replay of that goal, Babel took it really well. Fantastic first touch. Hopefully we'll give them a hiding now :)

    ah here, babel was poor up until the goal, lost possession three times totally unchallenged and didn't run at the full back once. He's improved the last ten minutes but thats all. Hopefully he keeps it up.

    He seems to be playing very deep though - almost a third midfielder as opposed to wide on the left.

    Decent first half. Liverpool have by no means been firing on all cylinders. Gerrard has been cat again. Babel best player on the pitch so far. Looks dangerous going down the flank.

    Have to disagree - looked by far the liveliest of the attacking quartet, won a couple of free-kicks and was casuing the Urinea defence problems. Who would you nominate as MOTM ahead of him?

    I'd like Kelly to get on the pitch and stick Carra back in his box and get Skrtel off, he can run and has a nice swinging pass which would be good for Torres later if the game is secure.

    hence why i said up until the goal. thought yossi has been quite lively, the midfield two were doing well too. Obviously a very good last ten minutes for babel which is great to see

    I am stunned at how bad the TV3 coverage is. The pre-match coverage was about as amateurish as I have ever seen but the commentators don't have a breeze to what is going on. There must have been 10 replays of the Babel's goal, along with a graphic crediting him with the goal, before they twigged it wasn't N'Gog's goal. Complete amateurs.

    He must have went to it because he wasn't considered for the reserve game but he's pictured on the offical site at the team visit to the romanian kids earlier today.

    Might not have been on the bench because of the travelling, or could have picked up a knock but strange to have him there and no Riera, Spearing, Degen, Darby or Plessis.
