Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm up for it anyway. It's a shame the match prediction game from last season kind of fizzled out there towards the end.

For Shamrock Rovers fans its a good cause. For anyone else that money would be better donated to their own. Not even being a cynic here, just logical.

Pointing out that a club fundraiser would raise revenue for a club is tedious and pointless in the extreme. Its stating the bleedin' obvious.

But thats not really what I was pointing out. I was just pointing out that saying 'its a good cause' to anyone other than Shamrock Rovers fans or neutrals is wholly inaccurate. Would you consider Shels or Bohs or even Sligo as good causes for your money to go to? I'd be surprised if you could say that you would. Maybe I'm being a cynic, I don't think so though.

Of course I would consider any sporting clubs fundraising effors a good cause. Because it is.

I may or may not donate to it, but one thing I wouldn't do is hang around an internet thread on it irritating people....
