    Reviews of Shanahans:

Another good choice (slightly cheaper but still pricey):

And somewhere that's also supposed to be good, and much cheaper:

Hi Timetogetfit. Shanahans would be one of the best for Rib-eye. They are fine, cooked to your choice, topped with tonnes of fried onions. Decor is faux-American oval room gentleman's club style, not a great atmosphere. The prices are astronomical too. Really really expensive for a steakhouse. Call the Pig's Ear or The Winding stair and see if they are doing steak on the menu. Darwins is supposed to be great, I have been meaning to go there for a while, You can't go wrong with organic Angus cross beef.

Wouldnt go near that place again. Went there with the OH and asked could I get baked potato instead of the chips that came with the steak, as side orders they were both the same price. Was told -

"No, cant do it, but you can order it as a side".
"No thanks, don't want the chips, surely you can just tell the chef.... "
    "No mate, cant do it."

    Yep, thanks 'mate'.
