Help with photo competition

Big Thank You to some users of this forum who helped with advice regarding terms and conditions for our competition.

This was the first photographic competition we ran so advice was very welcome.

We are hoping to run this competition on a regular basis and any advice would be welcome.

No problem caban will post up here.

Current comp finished tomorrow not many enteries so chances of winning are really good and some good prizes!! surprised at that really.

Hope to get some camera equiptment for next comp, seems logical.

A Gift Vouchers from someone like Gunns Camera Shop would probably be better as it would allow Photographers to choose what they can use. Unless of course it was something like a high quality Tripod or similar.

Shame for the cost of the prizes, could have got lots of this kind of prizes.

I meant for the next one, if you are going to have Photography Equipment. It is a mistake I have seen quite often where a Photography Competition offers a prize of a Point & Shoot Camera. It is highly unlikely that someone who would win such a competition would have use of something like that.

The weekends away you have as the current prizes look very nice!

The TV is a cracker too.
We should have done more research.
We would definatly had gotten more entries.

One last Q's (promise)
Going forward to the next competitions, is there a way we could have a target prize for a boards user?
What i means is boards users, could enter the comp as usual and then have a prize for boards only users.

Hello.
Some people have made a point, this is a monthly competition and it's ending today. So we are extending the closing date untill this Sunday 28th.
Giving people a little extra time to enter.

Extension will allow those who work and don't have access/not allowed email, to do so from home.

It's only 2 day extension!!

Hi Guys

Probably know most of the results well 1st and 3rd anyway.

Here they are anyway.

The Best Pictures as judged by the EIQA ‘Quality’ team were:


1. A romantic weekend for two in Kerry ( Lee Brazil Apples )

2. A family break in Westport ( Denis Hogan Tractor )

3. 19” TV ( 3rd Tony Rooney Top Security )
