Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Terry has gone back and back. Cech would have saved that!

So many things wrong with that goal.

Gotta love the never say die attitude of carlos.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,524 ✭✭✭joe123

Well that was strange. Liverpool need chelsea to beat city here. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

To be honest, if he had connected properly, I think the keeper had the angles. But because he scuffed it, the keeper wasn't ready for it, and the ball just kinda weirdly bounced in. Was funny.

Lescott shoulda done better. Shocking defending. Chelsea need half time here, because their defence has just crumbled.

Comedy goal that one. Terry made to look a fool. Would a taller keepr have saved that?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,801 ✭✭✭✭Gary ITR

Has to be the softest goal I've seen Chelsea give away in a long time. Terry should have nipped that in the bud

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    If that was Adebayor.... Perhaps...

First thing that the commentator says back in the studio is "Well, what a great game". He must be watching something else on another channel.

Can see Chelsea winning this 3-1 now. City's defence is rubbish

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,785 ✭✭✭James Forde

hopefully we'll get a better second half

Unbelieable really. Such terrible defending. City have been shocking but it's the score that counts. :(

Well its a funny old game Lampard has chance to make it 2-0 and City Mikel Terry and Carvallho and possibly keeper to blame.
    Cole is looking very sharp

Solid enough performance from Team Bridge.

One lapse in concentration let Lampard in but what a response. Gotta love that Tevez chap.

Poor from Chelsea really. Well on top for the first half and a lapse of concentration at the back has let City right back into it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,348 ✭✭✭Quandary

City have been really terrible so far. Ill be very surprised if Chelsea dont win this match. Also, Micah Richards should spend less time pumping weights and more time learning how to play basic football in training.

Great, whatever the hell that means!!!
Don't mean to be snappy with ya but the last city game I watched had one particular poster who had 'eff all to say for the 90mins except that it was a sh1t game. Over and over and over again.
Seriously could do without a repeat of that nonsense again:)

    from bbc

Turns out it was Wayne Bridge's hoofed clearance that set up the Manchester City equaliser. How about that?
