Mount Argus Harolds Cross

im living in Rathmines at the moment and im thinking on moving,tired of living in apartments looking for a house. Seen a few in Mount Argus,does anyone know what this area is like?? Is it a nice area??

Sound a bit mad but i have a cat and when i lived in Ringsend the not so nice people in the area gave the cats a hard time,so im looking for some where thats not too rough.

The bit north of the monastery is fairly quiet and out of the way. South of the monastery has better access with shopping at Sundrive Superquinn, but little else immediately nearby except local stuff on Harold's Cross Road. Not great for buses, I think only the 19a and 54a. Otherwise walk up to Harold's Cross and you can get the 16/a and 49/a as well or the 18 and 83 to Rathmines from Sundrive.

I lived in that area for years and like Victor said it's quite but not a huge amount around. Sundrive would be the only place nearby with a supermarket which is a superquinn, not quite the pick of rathmines, superquinn is great and all but they can be very expensive. But mount argus is a nice area and most of the houses are really nice. Happy hunting!!
