Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

X-box Live router settings

My Xbox gives a warning signal for my connection, telling my my Nat type is set to Strict. So far it hasn't really affected my connection, except that I tend to get left waiting for about five or ten minutes to get into a game (but as I'm new to Xbox, and to online gaming in general, for all I know this could be normal). Also, I've been told that it could give me trouble if arranging to connect to friends' etc.

When I follow the instructions given by my Xbox to activate UPnP, I can't connect to Live at all. Any suggestions?

Also, I saw one check-box on my router settings marked 'Bridging'. I've heard mention of this in regards to using Live, but don't actually know what it is. At the moment it's unchecked. Should I switch this on?

More than likely you'll just need to configure the router a little.
It's strange that you can't connect to xbox live at all with uPnP enabled.. but you can find direct instructions for your router and Xbox live here: http://www.portforward.com/
