    Fair comment defence.

    In order to plead fair comment, the publisher must be able to show that
    • the report was on a matter of public interest

    So yea Bob Zimmerman is a bollox is a fair comment as it's not being presented as anything more then opinion.

    Where is R & R on the dropdown menu now?
    I found the forum by clicking on keefg's profile and it seems to be under Rec but it's not coming up in the dropdown?

    Not sure how to get it on the drop down menu but when you access it through our link just subscribe to the forum under forum tools (I think). A direct link and updates will appear in your User CP. :)

    Private fora are not on the dropdown menu, subscribe to it and then it will eb on your dropdown.

    It still appears in my standard menu under rec at top of page even though I do not have access (and dont want it...as it is not a discussion forum. If I wanted to read a blog I would go to a blog site :P ).

    I am using the beta menu.

    Where is the forum now? I posted in the original thread for people who wanted access. Yesterday I was able to log into the form, but now I can't find it. It's not under Rec anymore.

    If you access the forum from my mod link, under forum tools choose the option subscribe to this forum. Once you've done that R&R will appear on your "Subbed" drop down menu.

    When we went private, over 700 people had been granted access. It's just short of 900 now. I can't speak for doc and keef, but for me personally, I have been way too busy in RL to take on that kind of pressure.

    It was kinda done in a batched manner to try and get as many people as possible. TBF Dav and the guys put a lot of work to try and make sure everyone had access. We've been quite busy trying to catch up with anyone who doesn't have access.
    Anyone who doesn't have access PM me and I will make sure they know they have access and make sure that they know where the forum is. It's not the best solution I know but if anyone has any suggestions as to how we can reconcile ranters with its new home that would be a help.

    Stick up a notice or announcement with the forum URL and explaining it's being made private. PM the mods for access if you want etc, all the info people need.
